I took a texture about 3000x2000 for example. Then create a new psd 8000x800. copy the stock texture and start using the smudge and slone stamp tool. Then colorize it like I need and export it to .jpg. After that open 3ds Max, make a high-detailed geosphere, load the texture, make some adjustment, add some light and export it to .png. Then the finishing touches in Photoshop again.
